Software Engineering Intern
About the Role
As a Software Engineering Intern at LA'CEDRA, you will work alongside our co-founders on real-world software projects while developing practical skills in full-stack web engineering, Git workflows, automated testing, and professional software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, and Node.js
- Work with frontend and backend technologies on production client features
- Participate in daily code reviews and technical architecture planning
- Use Git and GitHub version control following strict branch and PR workflows
- Write unit and integration tests to maintain software quality
- Debug software issues and investigate system error logs
- Collaborate closely with the technical supervisor and QA lead
- Document technical implementations and API schemas
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT field
- Basic programming proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or related languages
- Familiarity with fundamental Git commands (clone, branch, commit, push)
- Strong curiosity, high willingness to learn, and proactive problem-solving mindset
- Good communication and collaborative teamwork abilities
What You Will Learn & Experience:
Professional software architecture, modern Next.js/React full-stack patterns, automated Playwright QA, Docker containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and client-facing communication.
